How to Connect Google Calendar as Data Source
The integration will allow you get new, modified, and canceled events or events by the start/end date, transferring them to other systems. To start setup click "Create Connection".
Select a system as the Data Source. In this case, Google Calendar must be specified.
Next, you need to specify an action, for example, "Get EVENTS (new)".
- Get EVENTS (new) -ApiX-Drive will get new events from Google Calendar that appear once set up the connection and start auto-update.
- Get EVENTS (by start date) - ApiX-Drive will get events by start date from Google Calendar that appear once set up the connection and start auto-update.
- Get EVENTS (canceled) - ApiX-Drive will get canceled events from Google Calendar that appear once set up the connection and start auto-update.
- Get EVENTS (by end date) - ApiX-Drive will get events by end date from Google Calendar that appear once set up the connection and start auto-update.
- Get EVENTS (modified) - ApiX-Drive will get modified events from Google Calendar that appear once set up the connection and start auto-update.
The next step is to select the Google Calendar account from which will get the data.
If there are no accounts connected to the system, click "Connect account".
Select which account you want to connect to ApiX-Drive and grant all permissions to work with this account.
Check the box "See, edit, share and permanently delete all the calendars that you can access using Google Calendar" so that the system gets access to work with your account.
When the connected account is displayed in the "active accounts" list, select it for further work.
Attention! If your account is in the "inactive accounts" list, check your access to this account!
Select the calendar from which the upload will take place from the list.
Pay attention! If after connecting, at the Settings stage, you see the error "Request had insufficient authentication scopes.", you will need to connect your Google Calendar account again, providing all permissions.
To do this, follow these steps:
- Go to Access - Google Service - Google Calendar and delete the connected account.
- Go to the main page and turn off auto-update link.
- Go to the Access step in the Google Calendar Data Source and connect the account. Be sure to check the box next to "See, edit, share and permanently delete all the calendars that you can access using Google Calendar" when you connect.
- If the error has not disappeared, and your account is picked up from the browser automatically, then repeat steps 1-3 by logging in to the browser through incognito mode.
- Configure the Data Source and load the test data in the Validate step.
If necessary, you can set up a Data Filter, or click "Continue" to skip this step.

If the test data does not appear automatically, click "Load test data from Google Calendar".
If you want to change the setup - click "Edit" and you will go back one step.
