How to Connect WooCommerce as Data Source
The integration will allow you to get order data from WooCommerce, passing it to other systems. For example, you can send new orders to CRM or GoogleSheets, send them as notifications to a group of managers so as not to miss a single order. You can also send data to the SMS or Email mailing service. So you can automate the order processing process as efficiently as possible using the different services that you use.
Let's go through the entire WooCommerce setup steps together!
Navigation:
1. What data can I get from WooCommerce?
2. How to connect WooCommerce account to ApiX-Drive?
3. Link for receiving data.
2. Sample order data.
To start setup click "Create connection"
Select a system as the Data Source. In this case, WooCommerce must be specified.
Next, you need to specify the action "Get DATA".
The next step is to select the WooCommerce account, from which Apix-Drive will get the data.
If there are no accounts connected to the ApiX-Drive system, click "Connect account".
Specify the name of your account (if necessary) and click "Continue".
After that, the page will reload and the saved account will be automatically selected.
If this does not happen, select the created account in the list.
When the connected account is displayed in the "active accounts" list, select it..
Copy the link in the "URL for receiving data" field and go to your WooCommerce account.
In the admin panel of your site, find the WooCommerce plugin and go to its settings.
Next, you need to go to the "Advanced" section, click on the "Webhooks" section and add a new Webhook by clicking "Create a new webhook".
Now you need to set the "Active" status, select the "Order created" topic and paste the link for receiving data into the "Delivery URL" field, copied earlier in the ApiX-Drive system.
You can then save the settings by clicking "Save webhook".
After saving, the data in the "Secret" field will be automatically generated, which must be left as is, without changing.
Now you can return to the ApiX-Drive system and continue the setup by going to the verification step.
Note! After setting up, our system will not immediately have test data and a list of fields, because nothing has come to the new URL yet.
It is necessary to make an event, for example, make a new order on the site.
After that, at the Validate stage in the Data Source, fields with data will be displayed.
If this does not happen, click "Load test data from WooCommerce" or repeat the generation of test data, or wait for a while, the data does not come immediately, but within 1 minute.
Note! There is a new function "Data Filter".
If necessary, you can set up Filter, or click "Continue" to skip this step.
To find out how to setup the Data Filter, follow the link: https://apix-drive.com/en/help/data-filter
Now you can see the test data.
If the test data doesn't appear automatically, click "Load test data from WooCommerce" or try generating actions in your WooCommerce that the connection is setup to work with.
If everything suits you, click "Next".
Note! After setting up, our system will not immediately have test data and a list of fields, because nothing has come to the new URL yet.
It is necessary to make an event, for example, make a new order on the site.
After that, at the Validate stage in the Data Source, fields with data will be displayed.
If this does not happen, click Download test data from WooCommerce or repeat the generation of test data, or wait for a while, the data does not come immediately, but within 1 minute.
This completes the entire Data Source setup! See how easy it is!?
Now you can start setup the Data Destination.
To do this, setup it yourself or go to the help section "Data Destination", select the service you need as Data Destination, and follow the setup recommendations.
Good luck!
