Stripe Expands Global Fintech Stack
At its annual Sessions 2025 event, Stripe introduced a powerful lineup of new products and platform upgrades, further positioning itself as a global fintech infrastructure backbone. The launches focused on simplifying international payments, streamlining enterprise operations, and automating compliance.
One of the headline announcements was the debut of multicurrency cards powered by stablecoins. Built in partnership with Ramp, Squads, and Airtm, these cards are designed for seamless global spending and settle in a single digital currency. The launch builds on Stripe’s recent acquisition of Bridge, a startup focused on stablecoin payment rails.
Stripe also unveiled Orchestration – a new enterprise feature that allows companies to configure and manage multiple payment processors from a centralized interface, whether or not Stripe is the primary provider. The tool is aimed at large businesses with diverse and complex payment flows.
In a major technical reveal, Stripe introduced a proprietary AI model trained on tens of billions of transactions. The model, developed with self-supervised learning, is already enhancing fraud prevention for enterprise users. In particular, it has increased detection of card-testing attacks by 64% within days of deployment.
On the infrastructure side, Stripe expanded its billing capabilities. Nvidia successfully transitioned its entire subscriber base to Stripe Billing in just six weeks, setting a new record. Other high-profile clients now include OpenAI, Anthropic, and ElevenLabs – further cementing Stripe’s role in powering the AI economy.

- 25 new payment methods supported, including UPI and PIX, increasing the total to over 125.
- Klarna integration with Stripe Link is expected to launch this summer.
- Stripe Terminal now supports third-party hardware, starting with Verifone.
- Smart Disputes, an AI-powered tool that automates chargeback handling.
- Stripe Tax has expanded to 102 countries, offering complete automation.
- Global Payouts enables payments via email for contractors, partners, and customers.
