Google Rolls out YouTube Shorts Ads to All Users

After the experimental period, ads in app and video action campaigns will also include enhanced placement options in YouTube Shorts.

Google made a number of announcements at its Google Marketing Live event on May 24th. In particular, it was announced that advertising in YouTube Shorts is now available to users around the world. Previously, this option was available in test mode to a limited number of users.

Now, when launching advertising campaigns, in particular Video Action campaigns and App campaigns, an advertiser can include YouTube Shorts among other platforms from Google (Google Play, YouTube, search results, Display Network). It is also planned to connect the product feed to advertising campaigns, that feature will be deployed before the end of this year. Thus, the possibilities of buying directly through video ads will be significantly expanded.

For advertisers, this innovation will be an important step in developing their capabilities. At the same time, Google emphasizes that at this stage, content creators will not receive rewards for displaying ads.
