Google has introduced Gemini Spark, a new personal AI assistant aimed at simplifying digital workflows and task management. The product joins a growing market of agentic AI tools designed to complete actions independently across connected platforms.

The assistant is powered by Gemini AI models and runs on Google Cloud infrastructure, enabling users to delegate long-running processes without keeping their devices active. Spark can monitor tasks, organize information, and interact with online services in the background.

Google highlighted the assistant’s deep integration with Workspace products, including Gmail, Docs, Sheets, and Slides. Users can also communicate with Spark through email and monitor ongoing actions through Android’s new Halo interface.

Beyond Google’s own ecosystem, Spark supports integrations through MCP technology, with more connections planned in the future. The assistant is currently in a limited testing phase before a broader rollout to premium subscribers.
