Microsoft Makes ChatGPT More Accessible
Microsoft has decided to expand access to the revolutionary ChatGPT chatbot created by the OpenAI research lab, as well as invest heavily in the developer company.
On January 16, it became known that Microsoft is expanding access to the ChatGPT chatbot by integrating it into its Azure OpenAI cloud service. Such a move, according to experts, should make this language model even more accessible and at the same time attract new users.
It would seem, why is this necessary, if today everyone can use ChatGPT completely freely on the OpenAI web resource? The fact is that difficulties with access are guaranteed to begin when the capacity of the company's servers reaches the limit. This problem can be minimized by opening access to the chatbot through the Microsoft Azure OpenAI service. In addition, Microsoft specialists are planning to introduce ChatGPT into their Bing search engine. True, with a different goal – to bypass competitor Alphabet Inc.
Interestingly, Microsoft and OpenAI are in a financial relationship. Previously, the corporation has already invested about $1 billion in OpenAI. It is currently negotiating a massive new $10 billion investment in the chatbot company. Both parties have been discussing the details of a possible deal for several months.
