Google Announces New Shopping Tools
The company shared new products and developments, including those that will facilitate the work of advertisers and give new opportunities to users.
During the annual developer conference I/O 2022, Google presented a lot of new products and services. Among them there are a number of those that will give users a lot of of options in the field of shopping.
Among the new tools is the option of a virtual card, which will greatly facilitate the process of accepting and making payments, as it allows to simplify this procedure without requiring the buyer to provide a credit card number.
Both buyers and sellers will appreciate the new opportunity to place an advertisement in the form of a gallery of photos directly on the search pages. Thus, the path of the buyer to the online store is further reduced, increasing the efficiency of the advertisement itself.
Users also get more control over the ads they see. Now, from each advertisement, users can go to the My Ad Center advertising management interface, where they can make the necessary settings for displaying ads on all Google sites and applications. This can be blocking or vice versa highlighting ads as liked, choosing more interesting topics for advertising or those that would be preferable to be left behind the scenes. Also information about who paid for the ad and why the user was selected as the target audience will be available at the advertising control center.
