Amazon Launches Project Amelia: AI Assistant to Support Sellers
Amazon has introduced Project Amelia, a new AI assistant designed to help sellers enhance their business operations. This tool, built on AWS’s Amazon Bedrock, is currently in beta and available to a select group of U.S. sellers.
Initially, Project Amelia will allow sellers to access key metrics such as sales figures and website traffic. It can provide summaries of data, comparing current performance to the same period last year. Sellers can also ask follow-up questions to dive deeper into specific product metrics like sales trends and customer activity.
Amazon plans to expand the assistant to more U.S. sellers and introduce it in additional countries and languages later this year. The long-term goal is to offer sellers tools that streamline their business management and foster growth. In the future, Project Amelia will handle more tasks, assisting sellers in resolving various challenges.
