Keywords
Keywords is a list of keywords and phrases that appear most frequently on a web page or entire website.
This term is one of the key concepts of SEO-optimization of sites, it helps search engines check the relevance of text content. Thanks to it, users of Google and other search engines see only relevant sites that best match their search queries.
Keywords are also a meta tag placed in the HTML code of a web page (the <head> section). Inside it lists all the keywords and phrases that are present in the content of this page.
- Automate the work of an online store or landing
- Empower through integration
- Don't spend money on programmers and integrators
- Save time by automating routine tasks
Popular search engines treat the keywords tag differently. Since 2009, Google has not taken it into account at all when generating search results, instead recommending that webmasters pay more attention to title and description tags. From the point of view of Google, it is not necessary to include this tag in the HTML code of the page, but SEO-optimized texts with relevant keywords, of course, remain relevant for it. But representatives of Yandex claim that this meta tag is still important for their search engine.
With the help of keywords, search robots determine the relevance of textual content in relation to search queries using a number of mathematical and linguistic methods.
In the process of writing SEO-optimized texts, it is very important to adhere to the optimal percentage of occurrences of "keywords". PS robots do not just count the number of keywords, but the ratio of their volume to the total volume of content. An excessive number of keywords leads to re-optimization of the text, which negatively affects the position of the site in the search results.
