Bluesky has introduced updates to enhance user accessibility. Now, viewing content on Bluesky doesn't require a user login. While account creation and posting are still by invitation only, anyone can read posts through direct links. This enhancement opens the door for embedding Bluesky content in blogs and sharing it via personal and group chats.

Addressing privacy concerns, Bluesky has added a feature in its settings (Settings > Moderation > Logged-out visibility) allowing users to limit their post visibility to logged-in users only. This limitation is effective mainly on Bluesky's website and app, as external clients may not adhere to these settings. For full privacy, users are advised to make their profiles private.

Bluesky's CEO, Jay Graber, also unveiled a new butterfly-themed logo, replacing the old blue sky imagery. The social network has experienced notable growth, launching iOS and Android applications and surpassing 2 million users. Responding to feedback on content moderation, Bluesky has recently rolled out new tools for improved platform moderation.
