Pinterest is a photo hosting service that allows you to store images and group them into thematic board collections. The project was launched in 2010, for the first few years it was a closed community with invitation-only access. Since 2012, signing up for Pinterest has been free and open to everyone. New users can register on it in different ways: via e-mail or social networks (Google, Facebook). The service interface allows you not only to upload your own images or photos (from your hard drive or via a link), but also to subscribe to albums of other users and repost their content to your feed (repin). Pinterest allows you to upload an unlimited number of albums of different themes, controlling access and other settings for each of them. In addition to creating sections, Pinterest has a number of other features. For example, this is archiving boards, as well as filtering them according to a number of criteria (date of creation, date of saving pins, or in alphabetical order). In addition to the possibility of reposting content, users can sign their photos by adding a description of up to 500 characters to each of them. Here you can also comment on the content of other users and share it. Pinterest allows you to integrate your account with your Facebook account and broadcast all updates there. In addition to the usual free accounts, the platform interface also features business accounts. Among their features are the functions of creating boards for product demonstrations, publication of instructions and promotional content.
