Grok API

Grok is an AI-powered online assistant developed by xAI in 2023. It performs a wide range of tasks, including text generation and translation, internet search, document creation, coding, and research. This chatbot is based on the Grok Large Language Model (LLM), which is regularly updated. The assistant can also generate and edit images.

In July 2025, Grok's functionality was expanded with a new tool, Grok Imagine, designed to create animated clips with voiceover based on text prompts. The AI assistant has internet access, allowing it to find relevant information on websites and social media. Thanks to its expanded capabilities, Grok can provide detailed answers to complex questions, easily adapt its communication style, and even incorporate humor into its responses.

The availability of an API allows developers to integrate the chatbot into their software products. The API makes it possible to equip third-party services and applications with Grok capabilities. To set up API integration, you need to create an account in the xAI system and generate an API key.
